We focus on the 3222™ Concept which is brushing
- 3 parts of the mouth. (Teeth, Tongue & Gums)
- 2 minutes.
- 2 times a day.
- 2 visits a year with a dental hygienist for a cleaning and check up.
Fun slides and a sing-along jingle to teach children the importance of dental care.

Since 2019, Deserving Dental brought free of charge dental care directly to individuals inside homeless shelters and addiction recovery programs.

Those words changed us.
We began asking: What if we could reach people before that became their story?
Through Farina, Deserving Dental is reaching children early, when simple lessons can change the trajectory of their oral health for a lifetime.
Farina is a little sparkle and a fun way to learn about dental care.
Farina teaches children why they need to brush twice a day for two minutes, choose water over soda, limit sugary treats, visit the dental office twice a year, and understand that caring for their teeth is part of caring for themselves.

Before bringing Farina into schools, we piloted the idea by walking with her through the mall and downtown Denver for a couple days.
The response was something we never expected.
People of all ages stopped us to smile, talk, and ask for a photo. The best part was everyone shared their own Tooth Fairy memories.
Parents stopped and told us stories about becoming the Tooth Fairy for their children.
Complete strangers lit up when they saw Farina and asked for a photo with their own cameras.
People would come from across the street and shout... " It's The Tooth Fairy ! "
That's when we realized Farina could do more than teach children.
Farina opens conversations about oral health across generations, with joy instead of fear, and encouragement instead of judgment.

Today, when Farina enters a school, children may first see the beautiful gown, the giant toothbrush, and a little bit of magic. We see something more, an opportunity to help create a future where fewer adults ever have to say, “Nobody ever taught me.”
