  Jennifer Geiselhofer, RDH, is the founder and Executive Director of Deserving Dental, where she leads with passion and purpose to bring onsite dental care to underserved and underrepresented populations. A 1997 graduate of Prairie State College, department of dental hygiene in Illinois.

 Jennifer has been licensed in dental hygiene in 3 states over the past 30 years and built her career in dental public health as the owner of Dental at Your Door, a Medicaid-based mobile dental practice serving inside homeless shelters. In 2019, she launched Deserving Dental to ensure access to care for all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay.
 

Jennifer has been featured in The Washington Post, Rocky Mountain PBS, The Denver Post, CW2/ Fox 31, Channel 9 News, and multiple dental publications for her innovative approach to delivering care. 

Jennifer has served as an expert witness for the Department of Professions and Occupations, and the Attorney General’s Office for substandard care and Medicaid fraud. She has successfully passed a random Medicaid audit and is a Credentialed CHW by CDPHE. 

Jennifer holds advanced clinical certificates and licenses to administer local anesthesia, apply SDF, and placement of ITR (fillings).

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

 Alyssa Aberle is a Colorado dental hygienist with a deep understanding of our profession and a big dream for our future. Alyssa has spent her dental hygiene career working with several local nonprofit organizations including Kids In Need of Dentistry, Salud Family Health Centers, Colorado Orthodontic Foundation, and STRIDE Community Health Center (formerly MCPN). 

While working with these nonprofit organizations, Alyssa pursued a Master’s in Business Administration to gain a deeper grasp on organizational management and leadership. 

Alyssa is the former Executive Director of the Colorado Dental Hygienists Association and is a CDIPC- OSHA / Infection control trainer. 

Alyssa is passionate about advocacy and advancing the profession of dental hygiene, serving as the Chair of Regulation and Practice for CODHA. Alyssa is often seen and speaking at the Capitol during numerous Dental Board stakeholder rule making meetings. She is heavily involved in the regulatory process where rules are drafted and revised after legislation passes.

  Alyssa has her advanced clinical certificates and licenses to administer local anesthetic, apply SDF and place ITR ( fillings).

Married to a Colorado native, Alyssa and her family of 5 spend most of their free time outdoors hiking, backpacking, and boating. Alyssa loves rocking out to 90’s music, movie theater popcorn, and chai tea 

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST 

Candace has been a registered dental hygienist for over 12 years. She strives to care for her patients with compassionate and comprehensive oral health care. She has a Master's in Public Health and a Master's in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Mexico.
 

 Candace is the Senior Director of Education & Strategic Partnerships for the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA), a national non-profit organization that supports healthcare professionals who work in safety-net organizations like health centers. 

She is a nationally recognized speaker on topics to increase access to oral health care, author of publications, journal articles, and resources on health access and equity. She oversees training programs and is the principal investigator for federal and private grants.

Candace is a board member of The Social Mission Alliance, an organization that promotes integrating social mission into health professions academic programs.

She is the Oral Health Section Councilor for the American Public Health Association and

sits on various other advisory boards and committees including with AAPHD, American Heart Association, DANB/DALE Foundation, OHWRC.

Candace was published in 2026 in two articles in the Journal of Public Health Dentistry.
 

Candace has her advanced clinical certificates to administer local anesthetic and apply SDF. Candace was born and raised in Alamosa, CO. She now resides in the Denver area with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
